Our Team
Julia Ortillan
Registered Massage Therapist/Owner
Julia graduated from the Registered Massage Therapy program at CDI College South Surrey in 2020 and recently took over as owner/operator of Clayton Crossing RMT and Chiropractic. After many years of working as a Certified Dental Assistant, she began to seek treatment from an RMT for the stiffness and discomfort she felt in her neck and shoulders. Her positive experience led her to develop an interest in the profession and a career change.
Her primary focus is to collaborate with her patients to ensure their needs are addressed, while working towards a common goal which promotes healing and overall wellness. Julia utilizes many techniques such as Swedish, myofascial release, and active components to promote healing of musculoskeletal conditions and relief of symptoms of systemic conditions. Julia enjoys meeting and working with all patients in their different stages of life, however she has a special interest in treating pre- and post-natal patients.
Julia enjoys BTS, cooking, going for walks, a good K-drama, and spending time with her children. She looks forward to helping you address your massage therapy goals.
Tanya Khabra
Chiropractor
All my life, I’ve had a fascination with how the body works and how to keep it naturally healthy. This passion led me to pursue my Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at SFU. Along the way, I stumbled upon the world of chiropractic and I was in awe! As a chiropractic assistant, I saw hundreds of patients come to the clinic in pain and leave feeling significantly better, without the use of drugs! I was—dare I say it—hooked!
A year later I moved to Portland, Oregon where I started the 4 year Doctor of Chiropractic program at the University of Western States. Fast forward to today, and I’ll tell you that chiropractic isn’t just about pain relief. It’s about getting well and staying well. It’s about allowing your body to function the best it can! As your chiropractor, it would be my pleasure to help you move towards your full potential. Don’t let my size fool you. I may be small but I am mighty! Learn more at www.drkhabra.ca.
Catherine (Katie) Alvarez
Registered Massage Therapist
Katie graduated in 2014 from West Coast College of Massage Therapy and has practiced in both clinics and spas over the years giving her a wide range of experience with different patients and their needs. She became inspired to become an RMT in her early twenties when she was looking for a way to combine her love of working with her hands and her desire to help others. West Coast College of Massage Therapy offered a weekend course to learn basics and give a taste of the program. At the end of this weekend course, she knew this was the career path for her!
Katie believes that each body is different and needs specialized and unique care and works hard to apply individualized care to each and every patient she works with. Over the years, she has taken several continued education courses surrounding application of deep pressure, rehabilitation exercises, and the benefit of yoga stretches and exercises to continue the benefits of massage at home.
Although her passion lies in helping everyone live as pain-free and healthy as possible, she does have a special interest in pre- and postnatal care. Especially being a Mom and having experienced it herself.
Emma Vanjoff
Registered Massage Therapist
Emma studied Psychology at the University of Victoria and after a career change, she completed the Registered Massage Therapy program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy and graduated April 2021.
Emma treats with many different therapeutic approaches, including trigger point release therapy, active and passive stretching as well as various myofascial modalities to benefit soft tissue mobility throughout the body. She listens empathetically to each patient and caters a treatment plan to benefit each individual, from relaxing Swedish massage techniques to rehabilitation of injury.
When she’s not treating in the clinic Emma spends her time travelling with family, enjoying the outdoors, and keeping up with her energetic son.
Jacqueline (Jackie) Horton
Registered Massage Therapist
Jackie is very excited to be returning to Clayton part time! Having lived in the lower mainland for most of her life, she has developed a passion for being active outdoors. Through that, she has also developed deep understanding of the importance of movement for overall wellness, and taking care of our bodies to keep moving.
A graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2018, Jackie absolutely loves her career as a Registered Massage Therapist. Since graduation, she has been focused on creating a very patient-centered approach to massage therapy – it is important that patients are informed and take part in the decision-making process when it comes to their care.
Jackie has experience working in both spa and clinical settings and has treated many different musculoskeletal and systemic conditions. She utilizes a variety of techniques to ensure patients leave the treatment room feeling relaxed and renewed. All treatment plans are tailored to the needs of each individual patient and include homecare for a well-rounded approach to treatment.
While she has developed a particular interest in perinatal care, her passion is people, and helping her patients achieve their wellness goals is of the utmost importance.
Jackie looks forward to meeting you and working with you towards your goals!

Kelly graduated in 2009 from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. She is an active member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia.
Massage therapy sparked Kelly’s interest at a young age as she admired her mother’s career as an RMT. Kelly places great value on health and wellness and sees massage as an integral component in a holistic healthcare plan.
Kelly incorporates a variety of modalities in her treatments, including Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Deep Tissue work. She enjoys helping people through a wide variety of challenges, such as stress and anxiety, muscular tension, and various stages of rehabilitation.
